I love to do things that matter with people who care. My jokes are primarily for me, secondarily for you. My dad called me A-A-Ron before it was cool. I\'ve played drums since I was 9 years old. There is ALWAYS a song in my head. Always. I was a walk-on on to my college basketball team. I love hard outdoor pursuits: mountain biking, telemark skiing, rock climbing, trail running. For reasons I could never articulate, I always wanted to be a mechanical engineer. Early in college it was obvious that my people skills outweighed my engineering skills. A lack of engineers in politics led me to pursue politics. In college I finally gave Jesus my attention. I get fired up solving hard problems with smart people. I once intimidated a giraffe.
