About Kevin Brogle
Dr. Kevin C. Brogle received his B.S. in chemistry from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY and began his bio‐pharmaceutical industry career in 1988 working for Purdue Pharma L.P. Over the next 26 years, Kevin gained broad experience of the bio-pharmaceutical industry while holding a number of different positions at Purdue. Beginning in non-clinical development, Kevin worked as an analytical chemist on both solid-oral and parenteral dosage forms where he first developed his interest in data mining and analytics. In Kevin joined Purdue’s fledging Discovery Research operation where he gained experience in computer modeling, bioinformatics and project team leadership while helping to build this department. Attending graduate school part-time, Kevin received his Ph.D. in computational chemistry from Rutgers University, Newark, NJ campus, focusing his research on the application of statistical data mining to bio-pharmaceutical discovery research. Over the years Kevin had increasing areas of responsibility, including chairmanship of an international research collaboration, responsibility for Discovery Research project management, and the coordination of all non-clinical R&D due diligence support. All the while Kevin maintained his interest and expertise in data mining and analytics by developing tools to aid the productivity and efficiency of research scientists, team leaders and management. In the latter half of 2014, Kevin and other Purdue colleagues created the informatics and analytics driven licensing company SavantIP, where he served as Director until April 2017. In May of 2017 Accencio was born.
