ABOUT ACÁSSIO ROQUE

With over ten years of professional experience, I have worked as a Design Engineer and Product Manager. During my tenure at Whirlpool Corporation, I was responsible for product development, leadership of quality and cost reduction initiatives spanning Brazil, USA, and Colombia. Subsequently, at Amazônia Azul Tecnologias de Defesa S.A, I served as a System Design Engineer and Team Leader, contributing to the development of safety-critical electrical power systems. Currently, I am employed as a Product Manager specializing in power magnetics components at Würth Elektronik in Germany. My strengths encompass analytical thinking, statistical proficiency (holding a 6Sigma Green Belt certification), project management skills, proficiency in engineering software (including LTSpice and PSIM), programming skills (with expertise in MATLAB and C++), and interpersonal abilities demonstrated through effective teamwork and active listening. I hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP) with a specialization in Control & Automation and an international educational exchange program at the University of Porto, Portugal. Additionally, I have earned a Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Escola Politécnica at the University of São Paulo. In terms of languages, I am proficient in Portuguese (Native), English (C1), possess an upper-intermediate level in Spanish (B2), and a basic understanding of French (A2) and German (B1).
