About Aravindh Viswanathan
I work to improve the performance, emissions and carbon footprint of heavy-duty IC engines and am passionate about continuing to allow people to do more with Cat equipment while making the earth a cleaner place with more sustainable fuel usage practices and stave off climate change.I graduated from UW-Madison\'s Engine Research Center in 2023 with a PhD in ME and a graduate minor in ECE focused on Computer Architecture and Real-Time Systems. My research was on the use of mild hybridization and Gasoline Compression Ignition in medium- and heavy-duty IC engines to meet the ultra low NOx and new GHG emissions regulations in 2027.
