As a Part II Architectural Assistant at GSS, I contribute to various stages of architectural design, from concept to technical design. My role involved:Producing technical drawings and specifications compliant with UK Building Regulations.Supporting design development through 3D modelling, visualisation, and presentation material creation.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, consultants, and clients, to ensure project success.Engaging in client meetings and site visits to gather feedback and adjust designs as necessary.Preparing and submitting planning applications, and contributing to project coordination and administration across RIBA Stages 1-5.Part of the GSS AI group, helping GSS stay updated on new developments in AI and their application in architecture.During my time at GSS, I sharpened my technical, creative, and project management skills, contributing to innovative, sustainable architectural solutions across a variety of sectors.
