At I had the opportunity to grow both technically and professionally while serving as a Project Engineer and Project Manager. I worked hands-on with a wide variety of vessels and floating structures, providing engineering support from concept through construction.Some of the key areas I contributed to included:• Performing intact and damage stability analyses in compliance with 46 CFR and IMO regulations, using a combination of hand calculations and software tools like General Hydrostatics (GHS).• Developing 3D CAD models for stability, structural, and CFD studies, using AutoCAD and Rhino3D. • Designing vessels and floating structures to meet ABS classification society rules and regulatory standards, covering everything from stability and subdivision to structural fire protection and lifesaving systems.• Conducting resistance and powering analyses for displacement and planning hulls, including high-fidelity CFD simulations with Orca3D.• Leading structural design efforts and producing construction drawings for new builds and vessel modifications using 1st Principle and Finite Element Analysis.• Specializing in finite element analysis (FEA) using FEMAP to perform both local and global structural assessments.• Specializing in finite element analysis (FEA) using FEMAP to perform different types of structural foundation analysis. • Supporting offshore operations by carrying out seakeeping studies using GHS. • Supporting marine construction and maintenance by crane lifting analyses on barges and floating platforms, and designing complex mooring systems (analyzed using OrcaFlex).• Planned and executed inclining experiments and prepared trim and stability booklets for a range of vessel types.
