Inaugural Vice President of the new Gila/Rio Grande chapter of Trout Unlimited, covering all of Southern New Mexico and the El Paso, TX metro. Volunteer position, entails working with the other officers, board of directors and the State Council to initiate, plan, and grow the local chapter and its activities. Entails meeting with local, state, and national conservation partners, aiding and organizing coldwater fishery and stream-restoration and protection projects. Local TU participant in Project Healing Waters, a VA-endorsed therapy program for wounded warriors.
