As part of Meta\'s Data Center Design organization\'s New Build team, my key responsibilities have been the following: Acting in an owner\'s rep capacity to facilitate design and construction of data projects through the attendance of design reviews until IFC, providing support during construction until L5 commissioning (IST) for the Nebraska, Virginia and Georgia regions Providing direction to and managing our design consultants on a global level to capture lessons learned across the program Interfacing with Facilities Operations, Construction Management, Facilities Engineering, Site Selection to incorporate our cross functional partners\' needs into the data center design Responsible for interviewing potential candidates within the Infrastructure Data Center organizationIn this position, some of my accomplishments have been the following: Facilitating the movement and execution of 60+ changes across our various stakeholders, both internally and externally, in construction, design and operation Going beyond just my expertise in mechanical design and establishing myself as a key stakeholder for the fire alarm design: managing vendors both at the project/program level Developed and managed change processes to allow stakeholder ideas to be evaluated at a global level and executed at scale Working with pre-construction and operations team to develop a TCO analysis to save several hundred thousand dollars per admin space in our mechanical system for all new builds going forward Providing internal teams with presentations ranging from mechanical system overviews to change management processes
