ABOUT ABREYA HIGGINS

My passion will always be helping people and making a positive impact. The field of law became of interest to me after working in the social work field following graduation from college and realizing that policy was the driving force of societal function and change. And since law is the focal point of policy, this is when my passion to pursue a career in the legal realm began.I enjoy working alongside attorneys in a support capacity and the autonomy it allows. I love the paperwork and organizational aspect, and the detail orientation required, as even the smallest things grab my attention. I assist with a variety of legal support, from editing and proofreading legal briefs, drafting discovery responses, motions, notices, trial preparation, and in-person trial support, etc. I am an initiative-driven person, consider myself to be a lifelong learner, and am always looking for ways to improve my knowledge and skills. I am currently working on the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and learning to speak Spanish, as well as French.
