Directs and builds the Center for Collaborative Conservation’s Engagement Program:o Developed a business plan and billing rates designed to maximize the fee-for-service impact and profitability.o Built processes for assessing and managing incoming projects to leverage team capacity, and align work with strategic goals.o Takes on leadership and technical roles for engagement projects including collaborative design and management, facilitation, stakeholder analysis, and situation assessments. Oversees and coordinates the Western Collaborative Conservation Network (WCCN), and collaborates with WCCN partners to deliver resources and learning opportunities for collaborative professionals. Leads the planning and implementation of the biennial Confluence conference:o In 2024, Confluence welcomed 120 attendees to Tucson, AZ making in registration, and through sponsorships. Planning of this event required management of a team of 3 planners and facilitators, and 54 volunteers. Mobilized and dispensed support for 14 scholarship recipients and for 5 indigenous experts. o In 2022, Confluence welcomed 120 attendees to Chico, MT making in registration, and through sponsorships. Collaborates with the Director to accomplish fundraising goals through grant applications, fee-for-service projects, and fostering relationships with donors in order to raise in 2024, and in 2022. Leads the Center for Collaborative Conservation’s Research program, and serves as PI for various affiliated research projects including. Supervises and mentors staff and interns both in-person and remote. Advances overall impact by building connections across all aspects of the strategic plan, actively investing energy and time into individual and team learning and development, taking action to address underrepresentation in conservation, and regularly contributing to and WCCN promotion and communication.
