About Eric Abrams
Showrunner, director, creative EP / creator behind hundreds of hours of talent-driven comedy content, with diverse experience across the comedy world. I started my career booking stand-ups: all levels of performers on all types of stages, from comedy clubs to festivals to television shows and branded campaigns. Firmly entrenched in the comedy world and with a refined taste and perspective, I moved on to development: first independently, then as an executive at Comedy Central where I identified, developed and oversaw production for both linear and digital projects, including helping launch the network’s digital studio. I left CC for the opportunity to run my own show (This Is Not Happening), and have been working independently as a creative EP / showrunner, creating and developing shows, and directing multi cam series and pilots. Currently open to contract work, or full-time work for the right unique / creative / exciting opportunity.
