I’m the Founder and CEO of American Marketing & Publishing. My focus since 1997 has been helping the owners of local independent businesses advertise intelligently to local consumers at the very moment when search becomes selection. I have a passion for entrepreneurship, sales, marketing, and the success of America’s family owned, independently operated businesses. That passion is reflected in the great people who are a part of our company, and in the advertising success of the small business owners we serve as a team.It is an incredibly fun and dynamic time to be leading AMP. We published our first local HomePages® Directory in 1997 when print was still king, and 15 years later we became the largest publisher of community specific directories in the nation. In 2015 we were designated a Trusted Agency for Google Street View Trusted services, and we’ve quietly grown in the four years since then to become one of the largest such agencies in the country. We are a practical blend of entrepreneurial sales makers and tech creators, building and providing propriety, inexpensive, full service platforms that win our advertisers the call when consumers start the local buying process, whether via professional online listings presence and review management assistance, websites, messaging, or video. It’s a great feeling to be steadily growing our geographic reach and market share, and to be winning customers for our clients. My wife and I reside in St. Charles and have six great kids, ranging in age from 18 to 8. I’m a member of the Chicago YPO, an outdoors enthusiast, and - when I have the time - an avid freshwater fisherman.
