One of the big issues in higher education today is retention, and campus recreation provides an excellent platform to enhance our rates. An effective administrator creates an atmosphere and a system where students feel like they belong. This feeling can enhance a student\'s college experience, and in some cases can make or break it. We can create this feeling by demonstrating a history and culture of inclusiveness, approach-ability, and, at the end of the day, one of fun.We are also given an opportunity to provide professional development along the way. Classroom time alone cannot prepare a student for post-graduation. However, extracurricular activities can help a student become much more well-rounded and prepared. We provide those activities, whether it be through intramurals, clubs, employment, or general recreation.Specialties: Communication, Writing Skills, Planning, Problem Solving, Game and Event Management, Computer Technology Skills, Work Ethic, Work Quality, Emotional Intelligence
