ABOUT ABRAHAM ABOUGOUCHE
Principal of the largest private school in Western Canada and largest faith-based Islamic school in North America. EIA has over 1700 students (Pre-School - Grade 12) and over 165 staff members. Our environment is highly inclusive and our program emanates around our Mission and Vision. At the commencement of my principalship, EIA’s elementary program was ranked in bottom 15% of schools in Alberta. In 2 years, we have raised our provincial ranking into the top 1/3 of all Alberta schools and are rapidly trending upwards! In secondary, out of nearly 900 schools, EIA proudly holds the top academic ranking within Alberta and offers one of the countries strongest academic programs. 100% of our students graduate and 100% move on to post-secondary with most graduating from prominent universities and programs such as medicine, engineering, and law. Our elementary faculty offers a rich literacy program and designed around inquiry based and project based learning.
