Working at the residential care where I support young people with complex autism from age 7 to 25 years old- Delivering best practices by following plans which includes person-centered plans, individual learning plans and behaviour management plans- Support the young person (YP) in the learning environment- Ensuring YP residential is clean, well kept and maintained in good condition- Supporting YP through high standards of care and professional practices ensuring that they are safeguarded from risk and abuse and their well-being is promoted- Medication Administration- Supporting YP with physical support needs as necessary and also enable them to carry out tasks- Administration of medication and feeding to young person (YP) through Gastrostomy tube- Completion of accurate and factual daily records and written reports- Ensuring the needs and interests of the YP are effectively monitored, recorded and reported- Ensuring all medical needs are kept and medication is administered in line with GPs/Doctors/Nurses recommendations- Develop and maintaining professional relationships with YP and staff.
