Deputy Director, Office of Organizational Excellence @National Weather Service

Oversees a portfolio of projects and operations established to carry out the planning, design and build out of various NWS programs, including organizational health and culture, strategic planning, partnership engagement and governance. Utilizing a unique mixture of leadership, managerial expertise, technical skills, and adaptability, the Deputy Director ensures resources are managed to accomplish the organization\'s strategic goals and objectives. Has direct responsibility for the daily operations of the office and staff. Supervises and evaluates personnel and is responsible for advising and assisting in the formulation and implementation of administration policies and program operations of the Office, including budget administration.The NWS Office of Organizational Excellence applies strategic thinking across the NWS, challenges the status quo, enables change, and creates external and internal connections.
