I am a Backend Engineer at IBM ISL with around 5 years of professional experience, currently working on the Milvus vector database as part of the Watsonx Data team. In this role, I contribute to the development of core features, and ensure high-quality delivery through thorough testing and end-to-end ownership of deliverables. I’ve developed and shipped new features that enhance vector data management and search capabilities within the platform. Previously, I worked as a Senior Application Developer at Thoughtworks, specializing in Golang and Linux/Ubuntu systems. I have successfully delivered high-performance and reliable software solutions, including leading a Linux-based telemetry and cloud integration project, ensuring efficient and dependable software delivery. In my previous role, I independently managed a Linux-based application for telemetry, diagnostics, operational event collection cloud registration, and package installation. After a team transition, I took full ownership of the project. I optimized performance, delivered 10+ successful releases with zero limitations, and drove feature development to achieve measurable improvements and seamless client integration. Additionally, I contributed to a cross-platform screen sharing solution for Android and Windows, enhancing compatibility, enabling localization, and integrating in-app updates to expand usability across diverse user bases. In addition to development, I actively managed stakeholder communication and consistently delivered on client expectations, earning recognition for delivery excellence. I am passionate about clean code, scalable backend architecture, and collaborative problem-solving. I’ve mentored junior developers, led hands-on Golang workshops, and enjoy helping teams grow technically. I hold an MTech in Software Systems from BITS Pilani and a BTech with Honors in Computer Science and Engineering from Government Engineering College, Kottayam.
