ABOUT ABISOLA ROSIJI
Children are the world\'s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.” – John F. KennedyI’m a Public Health graduate from Rutgers University, an aspiring Doctor of Physical Therapy, and a U.S. Army service member with a heart for pediatric care and a passion for service. My journey toward physical therapy has been shaped by hands-on experience as a childcare professional, supporting children’s physical, emotional, and social development in safe and nurturing environments. I also worked as a Behavior Technician in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), where I provided individualized support to children with developmental and behavioral challenges. Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity to shadow cardiologists, which broadened my understanding of patient care from a medical and interdisciplinary perspective.Alongside clinical experience, I conducted research on the effects of cultural code-switching among Black professionals, reflecting my commitment to culturally aware and inclusive care. With CPR, AED, and life-saving training through the Army, I bring discipline, empathy, and calm under pressure. Qualities I intend to carry into every space I serve. I’m passionate about helping young patients overcome obstacles, regain strength, and thrive. As I prepare to enter physical therapy school, I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and connecting with professionals who share a heart for pediatric health and healing.
