ABOUT ABIOLA OGUNSAMI

I recently graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Salford and I have 7 months experience working in Finance. It\'s been a fantastic learning curve, really sharpening up my understanding and application of accounting theory and concepts. Plus, I\'m proficient with all the Microsoft Office Suite apps and SAP.I have loved my experiences working with property professionals which has inspired me to pursue a career in finance within the built environment to develop my skills and knowledge of this industry further. Championing the property sector to young people from diverse backgrounds is so important, and I feel I am a great example of this.I\'m passionate about helping young people develop professionally. I volunteer with Regeneration Brainery as an Ambassador, where I get to offer education and careers advice to young people, run workshops, and organise networking events. It\'s been an amazing journey so far, pushing myself to grow and take on new challenges. Plus, I\'ve become confident in public speaking – something I used to shy away from but now embrace.My strengths include building and maintaining strong working relationships, honed through my experiences in hospitality and healthcare as well as my voluntary roles. It\'s all about connecting with people, and I really enjoy that aspect of my work.
