About Abinash M Mudaliyar

Abinash is currently involved in research around self sovereign ID & Decentralised ID stack in web3. He strongly believes in the medium - long term of the blockchain revolution in the fin-tech space. Has a keen eye for the incremental transition this industry thats pushing technology enabled financial services to true Fin-tech. He also advices Mr. Swaroop Reddy\'s (Co founder of SPI cinemas & Think music.) family office with startup investments and manages his LP relations. He was the first public policy research fellow of Tamil Nadu State which allowed him to Co-author the Tamil Nadu State\'s Startup and Innovation Policy and played turnkey in setting up an exclusive Startup support wing for the State branded as StartupTN. He leads multiple High-Impact, Cross-Functional Projects at StartupTN with an object to build a bridge between the Government and the Startup Ecosystem. He has played key role in strategising multiple global & local initiatives to support the local ecosystem, Coordinated pilots and full scale programs to support startups of sectors like SaaS, Space Tech, Hardware -Deep Tech, Assistive Tech, and Clean Tech. He also conceptualised a State level grant program - TANSEED which has now support over 100 startups with ~10 lakh INR as grant/ startup. He built a strong network comprising of stakeholders like International Government, Organisations, Venture Capital Firms, and Startup Communities and plays SPOC for the State Government. The government of India has recognised his efforts by a Certificate of Commendation. He has also received appreciation from the government of Tamil Nadu for his contribution. He is the current Chapter Director of Startup Grind which is a global startup community and is an active volunteer in Headstart Network foundation and ACT grants. He is an avid golfer, trained ggotggozi artist, and a car buff.
