Creative Hut Academy — formerly known as Creative Hut Institute of Photography and Film — is a residential institute for photography and film based in Kottayam, Kerala, India, operating under Creative Hut Education Pvt Ltd. For over 15 years, we have trained more than 500 photographers, cinematographers, video editors, and now AI filmmakers, in a Gurukul model where students live, learn, and create on campus. Our flagship programme is the One-Year Professional Diploma in Photography, Cinematography & AI Filmmaking — India\'s only diploma that integrates classical visual craft with the newest tools in AI-assisted filmmaking. Students work hands-on from week one with the full stack: still photography; digital cinematography; drone and gimbal cinematography; editing and post-production on DaVinci Resolve and the Adobe Creative Suite; and AI filmmaking tools including Claude, Runway, Kling, Higgsfield, Magnific, Seedance, ElevenLabs, and Suno. Our students get credit on real productions. Our AI-assisted feature film RISING EMBERS — produced by Creative Hut Education Pvt Ltd and presented by Creative Hut Academy — gave the entire batch on-screen credit on a working feature.
