As a Platform Engineer, I automate the creation and maintenance of the platform to be used by various applications. I have about 5 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, Platform as Code, Pipeline as Code, and Policy as Code, using tools/platform such as Terraform, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, helm, Hashicorp vault, Istio Service mesh, Prometheus, Grafana, loki, fluentbit, keda, cert-manager, blackduck, Databricks, OPA and many other opensource tools. I use python,shell and powershell for automationa tasks. I work primarily with Azure. I have previous rich experience as a DC architect, Onprem infra architect and On prem DC migration of around 10 years I work with application teams and architect their platform, onboarding new applications and teams to our Cloud platform. I architect their environments and design their Infrastructure and application deployment pipelines. I also maintain base docker images, monitor and address vulnerabilities, and manage certificates, DNS, and secrets. I am passionate about providing simple solutions to complex problems, and sharing and gaining knowledge as an open source enthusiast. I am also proud to be the winner of the All India DevOps League Competition in 2023, outperforming 200 teams in a 3-stage challenge

   Responsible for automating the creation and maintainance of the Platform to be used by various applications.2. Responsible for working with application teams and architecting their platform. On boarding new applications and teams on the Teraform integrated Azure devops pipeline based Kubernetes/non kubernetes platforms.3. Automating Infrastructure build and application provisioning using Terraform, Azure Devops pipelines. Maintaining base docker images to be used by applications in application pipelines, by automating new version builds. Vulnerability monitoring, reporting and addressing using Black duck. Monitoring new releases using Python.5. Work with managing certificates, DNS, Secrets in different AKS clusters. using Cert manager, Hashi Corp vault, Azure key vault etc.6. Setting up microservice monitoring, routing and deployments using Grafana, Prometheus,Loki, Kured, kiali,Istio service mesh etc.7. Setting up ci/cd pipelines for continuous deployment to data bricks workspaces. Innovating and Researching on new technology trends to add more functionalities to the Platform. I have introduced Policy as Code using OPA which is used to do runtime policy checks for both IAC pipelines as well as kubernetes deployments. Designing and re-platforming legacy business application on kubernetes. Working with the application team in makng the applications cloud enabled.10. Designing and setting up multi-tenancy for a given application on platform, with secured logical separation11. Research and Development work in introducing Generative AI capabilities for the platform
