As a Business Analyst (Communications Specialist II) with Tripepi Smith, I assist local government and private sector agencies in carrying out their messages with impact. At Tripepi Smith, a marketing, technology and communications firm, I work with private and public sector clients in community outreach, timely legislation and with their marketing needs through social media management, video production, graphic design, press release writing, newsletter production, marketing strategy, media intelligence and more. My education includes a B.A. in Public Relations with a concentration in International Public Relations and a B.A. in Spanish from California Baptist University. My career has included communications experience in social media, research and online and email marketing communications. I have also gained strong administrative knowledge and interpersonal communication skills, and thoughtfully handled sensitive and private client information. Hardworking and organized, I gained leadership skills from positions such as Managing Editor of the Banner Newspaper where I led a staff of 40 student writers, designers, photographers, and editors in the creation of the award-winning campus newspaper. I am passionate about global justice issues, cross-cultural opportunities and nonprofit work, and I enjoy traveling and volunteering in an international setting. Alongside my Public Relations and Communication studies, I have studied the Spanish language and culture for 8 years and had the opportunity to study abroad and fully immerse into Hispanic culture in Spain during my studies. This experience has given me a broader perspective on diverse cultures, enhanced my cross-cultural communication skills, fostered cross-cultural sensitivity, and provided a global perspective, which I continue to carry with me in my career.
