Coordinating study visits, running MRI scans, conducting neurocognitive testing, analyzing data, and preparing papers for publication for neurodegenerative disease research, including Alzheimer and Huntington’s diseases. Research specifically looks at the choroid plexus and dysfunction within the glymphatic system. I also work on a clinically indicated study for the cerebrovascular disease, Moyamoya, using BOLD MRI to help surgeons identify at risk tissue for severe stroke requiring revascularization surgery. Additionally, I have been fortunate enough to shadow and gain clinical experience within the hospital with numerous physicians and surgeons.
