For nearly half of my 14-year career as a newspaper journalist, I specialized in education coverage - an over-arching umbrella that focused on all aspects of teaching, learning, budgets, content, public, private, from the very young to the very old, K-12 schools, universities, trade colleges, training and enhancement.During my next 10 years in the corporate sector, I worked in sales, marketing, training and communications - always in the role as educator - whether with clients, the public, peers or employees.I also worked for a human resources company that provided services in building workforce growth, recruitment, retention, consultation on state, federal and industry compliance, and awareness in Department of Labor regulations. Hence, all in all I am no stranger to the world of elearning.
