ABOUT ABIGAIL DIAZ

Abigail is a recent alumnus from the University of Delaware who received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), an Honors Degree, and a Minor in Public Health. She strives to serve as an advocate for her clients by additionally seeking opportunities to improve our public health system. Her aspirations include reducing racial healthcare disparities, tackling the social determinants of health, and advancing nursing practice and management. Upon graduation and passing the NCLEX exam, she began her career as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, providing her clients with a safe and comfortable environment and supporting them through their most vulnerable moments. She plans to advance her career by returning to the University of Delaware to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) under the Family/Individual Across the Lifespan Track (FNP) and a Post-Masters Certificate in Nursing Education. She hopes to further her skills to serve those in underrepresented communities and provide them with the healthcare that they need.However, Abigail always strives to go above and beyond to serve others. When she isn\'t working in the clinical setting, she volunteers for The Purposeful Unconditional Service to Others (P.U.S.O) Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing hope with a purpose. Through its efforts, P.U.S.O. has positively impacted the lives of over people around the globe.
