ABOUT ABIGAIL HUIE

I am a policy professional passionate about agriculture, international trade, and environmental sustainability. I’m most enthusiastic about work that will reach, educate, and support others. I grew up in an agricultural family and have a deep belief in the vital role that agriculture plays in each of our lives. As an intern with the Foreign Agricultural Service, I had the opportunity to witness and contribute to the impact of trade policy in action. Through my education and work experiences related to agricultural policy, I have realized the strength in unity and the fulfillment in working for what I believe in. Now, as a government relations representative, I hope to use my strengths to influence the development of policy positions and initiatives that support American producers across the U.S. In May of 2024, I graduated from the Bush School of Government and Public Service with a Master of International Affairs. The MIA program equipped me with the practical skills and depth of knowledge required to be an impactful and productive public servant. Moving forward, my strong academic credentials, professional experience, and written communication skills will be vital to my leadership and ability to work under pressure.
