Taking initiative to advocate for the needs of the Tourette Syndrome community. Became a Youth Ambassador in March 2023 and advanced to the Rising Leader Program in March 2024. Completed 3-day Youth Ambassador and Rising Leader training in Washington D.C. Able to give CDC-approved presentations about tic disorders to universities, schools, companies, and boards. Met with the staff of Sen. Blackburn, Sen. Hagerty, Rep. Fleischmann, and Rep. Burchett for National Advocacy Day in March 2023 and 2024 to lobby for national funding and support for the TAA, the Safe Step Act, and the extention of telehealth.
