I am a passionate and driven Materials Science and Engineering student at the University of Florida, on track to graduate in May 2026. My academic and professional journey reflects my enthusiasm for understanding and innovating with materials across diverse applications. Currently, I am an undergraduate researcher with the Tonks Research Group, where I contribute to groundbreaking work in microstructure modeling using machine learning. My focus is on generating training datasets and conducting simulations to study grain growth and microstructural evolution. Beyond academia, I have gained valuable industry experience during my internship with Cemex at the FEC Quarry in Miami, where I was exposed to operations and manufacturing in the construction materials sector. This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of large-scale industrial processes and reinforced my passion for applying engineering principles to solve real-world challenges. Through coursework and laboratory projects, I have developed expertise in materials selection and characterization techniques for metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites.
