As a research intern at the Center for Human Performance (a joint center between Houston Methodist and Rice University), I focused on injury thresholds for male and female ballerinas to enhance performance and injury prevention. My role involved conducting data analysis (t-tests, Cohen\'s D test, etc), writing research abstracts, and presenting findings at the TACSM conference. I am also contributing to an academic paper based on this research. This experience sharpened my skills in data interpretation, scientific communication, and addressing real-world challenges in sports and performing arts medicine.
