ABOUT ABIGAIL GRANT STANFORD
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), specializing in integrated behavioral health. My clinical experience has been within primary care, PICU/NICU, and obstetrics settings. I currently serve as director for the Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy program at Montreat College, where our focus is obtaining COAMFTE accreditation. My particular research interests surround the exploration of both longitudinal psychological and physiological outcomes of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). My clinical interests include a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) from a systemic perspective, as well as preventative methods and early interventions for pediatric populations.
