ABOUT ABIGAIL CLAUS
Hi, my name is Abby!I am a recent graduate of Tufts University with a Bachelor\'s of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Entrepreneurship (May 2021) and a Master\'s of Science in Biomedical Engineering (May 2022).I am from New Jersey with a passion for therapeutics, drug discovery, and medical devices that can improve the patient experience for those undergoing diagnosis and treatment. In the past, I have worked as a chemistry intern at a peptide manufacturing startup. I gained a lot of valuable experience in the laboratory with following and developing protocols for the synthesis and purification of peptides. I completed my master\'s thesis in a lab that specializes in non-invasive acoustic and optical imaging techniques. This has required a lot of animal handling and in vivo work. Additionally, I have acquired high quality medical images as well as processing and analyzing those images. I have gained knowledge in lots of data processing in biostatistics and hope to build in my knowledge of Python moving forward.I am extremely familiar with Ultrasound as well as photoacoustic imaging (US-PAI).
