About Abigail Carter

As I enter my senior year at Iowa State University, I’m pursuing a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice with the goal of attending law school. I\'m passionate about the intersection of psychology and the legal system, and I’m committed to building a strong foundation that prepares me for a future in law.In the future, I hope to become a lawyer, driven by my passion for helping others and being a voice for those who can’t speak for themselves. I believe in the power of advocacy and am committed to growing my knowledge of the legal field to best serve individuals. I will continue to explore the many areas of law and strengthen my skills so I can become the most effective and compassionate professional I can be.I actively seek out opportunities that expand my understanding of the legal system, strengthen my communication abilities, and develop my leadership skills. Through my roles as Vice President of Psychology Club and Vice President of Panhellenic Relations, I’ve learned how to lead with purpose, collaborate effectively, and support those around me. This past year, I gained valuable hands-on experience through a Legal and Compliance Internship, and I’m excited to continue building on that foundation by working in a Psychology and Law research lab during the upcoming academic year.
