The charity Remembering Srebrenica, which is part funded by the UK government, is responsible for promoting memorial events all over the UK. Remembering Srebrenica aims to build a more courageous and cohesive society by sharing the deeply moving stories of survivors of the genocide and ethnic cleansing in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Welsh board work hard to raise awareness of the worst atrocity on European soil since the Second World War and the consequences of hatred in a civil society, using the lessons from Srebrenica. We commemorate the victims in July of every year. Please look out for posts regarding the annual commemoration date. Abi won the \'Board Member\' category in the Chwarae Teg Womenspire Awards 2019 for her work with the charity in Wales.
