About Abia Rahman
I am a senior at New York University majoring in Global Public Health and Biology on the Pre-Med track. I am also pursuing my Masters in Bioethics at NYU\'s School of Global Public Health as a part of the 4+1 Program. My interests lie primarily in clinical ethics, specifically understanding and strengthening patient/physician communication to emphasize informed consent in healthcare settings. I hope to take the skills gained from my program to my future career as a physician closely involved with research in clinical and public health ethics. During my time at NYU, I have joined multiple student-lead organizations including Delta Gamma Fraternity, the Medical Dialogue Review, and Model United Nations, as well as maintaining an internship at Barstool Sports.
