ABOUT ABI ROWSON
Newly in post as Senior Policy Fellow at the London Research and Policy Partnership, I am leading on developing London\'s first Areas of Research Interest (ARI)- a mechanism which will help to bring academic research and London government closer together, enabling evidence-informed policymaking.On secondment to the Policy & Intelligence team at Leeds City Council, I lead on developing the strategic collaboration between the University of Leeds and the Council.At the Horizons Institute, I develop interdisciplinary research networks across the University of Leeds, facilitating programmes and events with internal and external partners. I help academic colleagues come together and respond to global research challenges, across disciplines and sectors.
