Promoted from Quality Consultant to Quality & Clinical Effectiveness Manager.• Manage Quality and Clinical Effectiveness over Interventional Platform, which includes Perioperative Services, Ambulatory Perioperative Services, Endoscopy, Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.• Direct Quality over 3 main campus locations (53 OR’s; 18 Cath Lab rooms; 12 procedure rooms) and 4 Ambulatory Surgery Centers (17 OR’s).• Directed licensing for Interventional Platform in brand new square foot facility.• Develop clinical quality improvement programs and initiatives; provide strategic direction and collaboration with medical and administrative leadership. • Identify, design and implement new processes in clinical care based on evidence linked to national quality requirements to improve patient care, outcomes, and achieve targets.• Utilize clinical acumen to change practice and influence clinical processes, systems and outcomes.• Examine effective Models of care delivery for opportunities for optimization and decrease waste within the systems of care.• Identify opportunities for unit/service based improvements based on evidence based practices, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements, and data analysis of high risk, high volume and/or problem prone processes.• Perform trend analysis of events, quality indicators, and safety-related incidents with subsequent performance of root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, as well as, performance improvement.• Utilize Clinical Effectiveness framework to ensure performance improvement initiatives focus on improving outcomes, appropriateness of care, patient centeredness, and value.• Provide in-service to staff around quality, regulatory and performance improvement initatives.• Manage regulatory visits (CDPH, TJC, etc.), occurrences and findings from regulatory agencies to ensure correction.• Manage 2 Quality Improvement Consultants
