ABOUT ABHITH KRISHNA
I am currently working as a Global Product Quality Specialist at IKEA, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of IKEA’s kitchen appliances for millions of customers worldwide. In this role, I work across global teams to strengthen product standards, improve customer experience, and support IKEA’s vision of creating a better everyday life. I hold a joint Master’s degree in International Food Business and Consumer Studies from Hochschule Fulda and the University of Kassel, where I specialized in the global food system, consumer behavior, and sustainability. My master’s thesis at IKEA explored temperature deviations in food logistics, analyzing their role in food waste and providing solutions to support IKEA’s sustainability goals. Previously, I gained hands-on experience as a Food Quality Intern in IKEA’s Supply Chain Operations, an Inventory Associate at Flink, and a Business Development Executive, building expertise in product quality, operations, and customer-focused solutions. Beyond my professional work, I create content on life in Germany, travel, food, and education through my YouTube channel European Ticket and Instagram, engaging with a community of over followers and subscribers. I am passionate about combining my expertise in quality management, global supply chains, and sustainability with creativity and digital communication to drive meaningful impact in the consumer goods industry.
