About Abhishek Tayal
I\'m building Sujho — an AI Teaching Assistant platform for Indian K-12 classrooms. The idea is simple: give every teacher an army of AI-powered TAs, so they can teach larger cohorts with the kind of personalised attention that only the best teachers manage today. We call it the Teacher as CEO model.Sujho is the product of a thesis I\'ve been testing for a while. With SSC Practice, I built an AI tutor for entrance exam students — voice tutoring, adaptive drills from real PYQs, WhatsApp-native — and learned firsthand what it takes to make AI genuinely useful for Indian learners. That experience shapes everything about how we\'re building Sujho.Before this, I built the Bookscape platform at Repro from the ground up — India\'s book-centric eCommerce platform with 1M+ titles, AI-powered recommendations, and tools for content creators to reach their readers. Before that, I joined iBUILT as an early employee and spent three years building the company\'s entire technology stack — ERP, SCM, CRM, and more — as the team scaled from 12 to nearly 100 people.I studied Electrical & Computer Engineering and Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon, with a minor in Entrepreneurship.Outside of work: yoga, making and listening to music, and deep space futurism.
