I am a PhD researcher in Environmental Engineering at Delhi Technological University (DTU), working at the intersection of urban climate, remote sensing, and air quality analysis.My research focuses on understanding the spatio-temporal dynamics of the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect in rapidly urbanizing regions such as Gurugram, and its interaction with air pollutants including PM2.5, NO₂, O₃, and SO₂. I specialize in satellite-based environmental analysis using datasets from Landsat, MODIS, and Sentinel, combined with advanced tools such as Google Earth Engine and R for large scale data processing, statistical modeling, and correlation analysis.My work involves: • Land Surface Temperature (LST) extraction and trend analysis • Spectral indices (NDVI, NDBI, NDWI) and urban morphology assessment • UHI & air quality interaction studies • Seasonal and multi-scale spatial analysis • Data cleaning and outlier handling (IQR, statistical validation)I am particularly interested in translating environmental data into actionable insights for sustainable urban planning, climate resilience, and heat mitigation strategies.I am open to collaborations, research partnerships, and opportunities in environmental analytics, climate-tech, and data driven sustainability solutions.
