About Abhishek Paronigar

Abhishek has over 18 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. Abhishek is currently working at Piramal Alternatives and is responsible for their Fund of Funds product and also supporting in fund raising. Prior to this, Abhishek was a Partner at Moravia Capital Investments and in charge of investments in private equity funds and venture capital funds in Asia and North America. Abhishek led sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, investment and portfolio monitoring of private equity funds and venture capital funds in Asia and co-led the same for fund investments in North America.* Abhishek was also on the Investment Committee of the Fund. Prior to that, Abhishek was a Partner at Moravia Capital AG and in charge of fund placements in Middle East and Asia. He was responsible for handling and managing relationships with institutional investors of alternative asset class in the Middle East and Asia. He was also in charge of business development and sourcing clients in Asia, with a focus on India. Before joining Moravia Capital AG, he was working with ICICI Bank in the Global Investment Banking Group. He was responsible for advising clients on a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions and has advised several Indian companies in the hospitality and consumer goods sector.* Abhishek has been honoured with the ’40 under 40 Alternate Investment Professional 2020\' Award by the Association of International Wealth Management of India.* Abhishek is frequently invited as a speaker at industry events like VC Circle LP Summit and Indian Alternative Investments Summit.* Abhishek is an all-India rank-holding Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai (Top 5 MBA institute in India).
