I’ve spent the last decade building systems that quietly keep the internet running — search platforms, observability pipelines, and distributed systems that handle millions of requests every minute without breaking a sweat.My journey started with ShopClues, where I built the company’s first Solr-based search engine from scratch. That experience sparked my fascination with scale, latency, and reliability — how systems behave when traffic grows 100×, and what invisible optimizations make them survive.At Freshworks and later OLX Group, I led engineering team as senior engineer for global search and personalization platforms handling > 1 million+ requests per minute across multiple markets. I drove the Solr → OpenSearch migration, implemented Learning-to-Rank (LTR) for better relevance, and delivered $1M+ annual infrastructure savings through architectural optimization and query offloading. We achieved 99.99% uptime — without adding a single extra server.Today at CSDISCO, I lead Search & Foundation Platform and Hold & Preservation Engineering as senior engineer, where we’re reimagining large-scale legal SaaS systems using microservices, AWS EKS, Datadog, and Terraform. Beyond systems and code, my passion lies in mentoring engineers, conducting architecture reviews, and aligning technical execution with business outcomes.
