Abhishek has over 15 years risk management experience with last eight years of those in the Big Tech. He partners with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product Managers, Compliance, Customer Operations and Finance) to identify and assess security, operational, regulatory, privacy, and financial risks for Security, Infrastructure, AI, Payments, and other emerging technologies/platforms. He makes valuable recommendations to strengthen information security and business processes, and influence changes and decisions. He manages a global team and works closely with leadership to help provide expertise in controls and AI model risk frameworks, and collect information to create an enterprise-wide view of risk and control. He led the Gen AI Forum at Meta. He has led the AI COE and developed the AI Governance and Audit Framework. He has also led security and privacy risk assessments and rolled-out the assessment framework across the business.He has experience with cyber security, privacy, SOC, regulatory compliance, BSA/AML, IT governance, SOX, risk and control advisory services across technology and FinTech industries. He specializes in risk and controls assessment, and performing advisory engagements. He has in-depth knowledge of the NIST, COBIT5 and ISO27001/2 risk frameworks.Abhishek collaborates with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), providing thought leadership in the realm of AI. He has presented on AI and Metaverse at the global conferences. His academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a bachelor’s in computer science engineering.
