About Abhishek Kashikar
Abhishek Kashikar is an engineer turned lawyer who did his engineering in Electronics and Communication from Panjab University, Chandigarh and LLB from Karantaka State Law University. He did his executive MBA from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. As they say; everything starts from something small; similarly Abhishek’s inclination towards technology & innovation got developed watching a famous cartoon series “The Dexter’s Laboratory” in which a little boy tirelessly creates new technologies every day. The ever expanding world of engineering, innovation, and inventions still creates the same level of inquisitiveness in his mind which drove him to develop his career in intellectual property domain to remain surrounded with cutting edge technologies. Abhishek has several years of experience in providing IP consulting to Fortune 100 companies. His areas of expertise lie in developing and implementing IP processes/strategies for the organization in order to release IP risk free products in the market and develop/manage a strategically placed patent portfolio by harvesting inventions during product development and leveraging generated IP to support long term business objectives (including revenue generation through IP monetization activities) Abhishek finds a great interest in travelling, adventure activities and meeting people from different backgrounds with whom he can share his experiences and gain from theirs.
