About Abhishek Jayswal
With over 20 years of experience in process engineering for refinery and offshore/upstream units, I am a Principal Process Engineer at Worley, a global provider of engineering, procurement, and construction services. I hold an EIT certification issued by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and a master\'s degree in chemical engineering from Lamar University.As the area lead for the Shell Whale FPS project, I manage the process engineering activities for the topsides gas system for the offshore platform in the Gulf of Mexico. I have extensive expertise in process simulation, equipment sizing, relief valve sizing, blowdown/cold depressurization analysis, HAZOP/LOPA/SIL assessment, and PFDs and heat and material balance. I also have experience in working with various software tools, such as Aspen HYSYS, HTRI, Pipenet, Flarenet, and MS Office. I am passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the client\'s needs and expectations.

2024-Present Chevron, Aphrodite FPS, Lead ProcessConceptual study followed by Pre-FEED and now in FEED phase for gas processing semi-submersible Floating Production System (FPS), designed to process 2,500 bbl/day condensate, 800 MMSCFD of produced gas and 10 KBPD Produced Water. Process lead for topsides which includes onboarding, gas dew pointing, gas compression, MEG regeneration, condensate treatment, produced water treatment etc. Leading process group FEED phase activities including development of PFDs, P & IDs, equipment sizing etc. Leading team of process engineering and draft persons to manage project activities. In previous phase led conceptual study and Pre-FEED for various flow scheme option for gas compression, gas treatment and condensate processing facility. The evaluation of option includes hydrocarbon dew pointing, compression configuration and condensate stabilization. Responsible to manage process simulations, evaluation of options with client and overall progress of the project.2022-Present Shell, Sparta FPS-Detailed Design, Lead Process Detail engineering of a semi-submersible Floating Production System (FPS), designed to process bbl/day oil, 40 MMSCFD of produced gas and 30 KBPD Produced Water. Lead for Topsides process group. Management of budget, schedule, deliverables, inter-discipline and client communications. Managed and provided technical support for all aspects of project including but not limited to relief valve calculations, process simulation studies, reviewed and approval PFDs, Heat and Material Balance and P & IDs. Reviewed and approved equipment sizing, i.e, two phase and three phase separators, KO drums, Heat Exchangers, pumps etc. Managed work at workshare offices for Relief valve sizing, Blowdown/cold depressurization analysis, control valves, hydraulics and instrument data sheets. Participated in HAZOP, LOPA and SIL assessment.
