About Abhishek Iyer
I am an investment banking analyst at Avener Capital, a firm that delivers tailor made advisory solutions across M&A, private equity and debt syndication to infrastructure and its allied sectors. Within a year of working at Avener, I have had an opportunity to work and structure transactions across the capital structure with a cumulative transaction value of INR crores (>$800mn).Infrastructure is going to play a vital role as India advances in its journey towards becoming a developed nation. Having been part of transactions in roads and highways and agricultural grain storage, I look forward to evaluating transactions across other sectors and contribute towards the India growth story. Beyond my professional journey, I am a MSc Finance and Private Equity graduate from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). I found my time at LSE extremely rewarding where I learnt not only about traditional finance principles such as valuation and asset pricing but also about the responsibility finance has towards contributing to a greener planet.On a more personal side, I am interested in piano, cricket, and poker.
