Abhishek is an accomplished professional with extensive international experience in research, marketing, and team leadership across Fortune Global 500 Companies. With a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, he possesses strong analytical and quantitative skills, complemented by comprehensive expertise in Energy S&D modeling, commodities, energy policies, global macroeconomics, investment flows, and trading strategies.Currently he is pursuing a modular Global Executive MBA from INSEAD, France. He is also an active board member for two sustainable startups: SkySpigot & CorkBrick Europe. Recently he was the Managing Director & Chief Economist at NextEra Energy Inc. Abhishek previously held key positions as the Global Head of Market Intelligence/Commodities & Energy Strategy/Research at ADNOC Group, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co, OMV AG & Natixis SA (Groupe BPCE). He is credited with setting up and expanding energy research at the French Investment Bank Natixis SA and spearheading the design and launch of flagship publications at some of the organisations he worked for in the past.
