ABOUT ABHISHEK BHAT
I was born in 1990 and I hold a MSc. degree in Automotive Engineering. I have worked in the automotive business since 2012 and am highly skilled automotive engineer in the field of functional CAE. After I finalized my Master thesis at CEVT AB within the CAE department working with modeling and simulation of the vehicle propulsion system, I joined joined Semcon in August 2016. At Semcon, I have worked as a modelling and simulation engineer in a research project (Second Road phase 2) together with Volvo Car Corporation. Focus of the project was to improve the methods of multi-domain modelling and simulation for software integration purposes in complete vehicle system. I have also worked for two years with Tata Consultancy Services in India before pursuing my Masters, and also as a VESC student in 2015 summer with Volvo Car Corporation which gave me the experience to pursue a career in the field of the automotive engineering. During my work and also studies, I have used many tools like CarMaker, Matlab, Simulink, Simscape, Dymola, Unigraphics, CATIA and Canoe, as well as C/C++ programming, and hence am well suited for modeling and simulation related work profile in a preferably automotive organization. I am organized, independent, and have an analytical personality paired with high stamina and curiosity. Outside the professional life I am fond of sports and music. I am a professional cricketer. I take every chance to see myself grow as a cricketer which is my hobby.
