Decision Making – Apply company policies consistently when making judgments about borderline cases. Flagging & Reporting – Escalate complex or suspicious content to senior moderators or specialized teams (e.g, legal, security). Community Safety – Ensure online communities remain safe, inclusive, and respectful for all users. Data Tagging & Categorization – Label, tag, or classify content for AI/algorithm training and better platform recommendations. Quality Assurance – Maintain accuracy, speed, and fairness while reviewing large volumes of content. User Support – Sometimes respond to user reports, appeals, or feedback about moderation decisions. Compliance – Follow local laws and regulations (e.g, related to child safety, copyright, or sensitive content). Well-being & Resilience – Handle exposure to disturbing content with professionalism while following mental health and well-being protocols.
