Working as Section Head & handling complete Procurement for Greenfield project of 1,450 INR Cr at 83 Acre for manufacturing of Paint and responsible for:1. Procurement of Eelctro-mechanical, Pneumatic-Instrumentation equipment’s.2. Post technical tender finalization by engineering consultant (Jacobs India) and user team, floating the same for quotations to finalized/shortlisted vendors.3. Receiving the quotations/proposals and evaluating the same with consultants/stakeholders/commercial team.4. Scheduling meetings and discussions for closure of contracts while finalizing commercial terms for WIN-WIN situation for both the organizations.5. Raising NFA’s (Note for Approvals) and managing complete documentation involving user/legal/finance team to execute hassle free job at site. • Strategic sourcing for right vendors and also maintaining standard vendor panel for effective and competitive services.• Strategic Negotiation & finalisation of contract based on various levers i.e. market intelligence, analysis of past data, Price bifurcation calculations and ZBC method etc. for buying decisions to ensure optimum cost.• Plan and execute requisitions in time by interacting with various cross functional users as well as vendor partners ensuring governance process.• Adhering to company SOP for effective procurement process. • Work closely with senior management, production, project management, engineering, Legal and Finance and also with, suppliers to establish business building relationships.• Attending meeting with internal user dept. to address & sort out issues if any.
